Alana is the CEO of The Mom Halo, Momfest, Camp Mom Halo and the voice behind the mom halo podcast. The ultimate community builder, connector and networking maven Alana loves to bridge people to one another with live events and virtual content. Alana is a mom of 3 kids under 6 years old, and her youngest child is medically complex with a condition called Myhre Sydrome, he is 1 in 36 Million. Alana has committed to raising $1 million for SickKids to create spaces for caregivers and parents living at Sickkids during the hardest moments in a parents life.
Why we love Alana
Many people LOVE Alana, it's plain to see, but our love of her is specific to her humanity and grace. She has made the commitment to make the world a better place through fundraising for causes she believes in. Alana is a woman who is actively working to make sure that moms will have it easier than she did when faced with a childhood health issue. She's a mom who doesn't complain, instead she makes us laugh, out loud. She shares so openly and honestly her journey and her struggles, not for pity, but for inspiration. And, oh, does she inspire! We're not only cheering, and celebrating her fundraising goals, we're alongside her every step working with her to make her goals a reality.
