About Carolyn
Carolyn Drebin has been a professional writer for over 25 years, and a lover of baked goods for even longer. In 2008, Carolyn and childhood friend Lesley Matthews founded Kitchen Co-Op, a thrice-yearly seasonal baking business.
When the pandemic hit, the side hustle took centre stage as people clamoured for something special to brighten the endless days of isolation and quarantine. Pretty soon, customers were spreading joy (and eating their feelings) with Kitchen Co-Op's incredible sweet and salty, candy-topped Giant Cookies. And while the pandemic is (mostly) over, the desire for amazing custom cookies is still going strong! Carolyn continues to write and, of course, to bake while wrangling her 3 teenage sons and wild(ish) rescue dog.
Why we love Carolyn
We love Carolyn for many reasons but mostly because she is a true maven. Maven of many things: cookies, words, laughter, current events, animals, boys, books, travel, ideas and of course, Dr. Pepper. For real - she can talk about anything! And, if you have ever had the pleasure of eating her yummy treats, you know that Kitchen Co-Op is an excellent way to indulge in all things baked and delicious. Her creative, giant cookies have brightened many occasions and have filled the bellies of kids and adults of all ages. Keep baking and keep talking girl. We appreciate you.
