About Gillian
From work in Film/TV to working for one of the leaders in the skincare industry, roles at several non-profit organizations supporting children with illness, teaching (outdoor education & elementary) and finally to heading up Mommy Connections Midtown - Gillian has worn many hats! As a mom of two children (ages 7 & 3) it was while on maternity leave from her job as a teacher that she first experienced Mommy Connections and was hooked! Gillian is determined to help moms ‘find their mom squad’. Building community and connections is one of her specialties, her goal is to ensure that Moms feel supported and connected throughout their mat leave and beyond.
Why we love Gillian
Gillian is a woman whose connections feel real. Her heart is in this and we can tell. She has two kids of her own but wants the experience of motherhood to be wonderful for others too. She wants moms to get the benefit of being with other moms who really care and can offer ideas or just be there for the tough moments too. We love what Gillian is doing. We want to support her. And we admire her passion. That's why she's in our Spotlight!
