Why I chose to support SickKids Foundation

When Kane was one month old, he was diagnosed with pyloric stenosis and was transferred to Sick Kids for surgery. This experience was terrifying since he lived on an IV for almost 3days before being transferred to Sick Kids and we had no idea what was wrong with him or if he would even survive. The staff and surgeons at Sick Kids were absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have been luckier to had have that support. In addition, having been around many other sick kids (some terminally ill) and seeing their world winning facilities that help make kids happy, confident and comfortable, we realized that even with large sums of money being donated every year and from all didn’t sources, there was always an opportunity for the hospital to use every penny towards their facility, staff and most importantly....research development.

Why I chose my gift(s)

We selected an automatic toy car bc being the second boy in our family, we had enough smaller toys for our boys to share. This gift was something very special that he could share with his older brother.
