Why I chose to support Ve'ahavta
Geddy’s exact words were “I want to help people who don’t have homes or stuff they need but I also care about helping people in the Jewish community”. That, to my understanding, is the definition of Ve’ahavta and I was thrilled when I saw they were a part of the echoage options for donation.
Why I chose my gift(s)
We got him a bank account this year because of his interest in saving. It’s been wonderful to see him realize that he has the option to save his money instead of spending it right away. He’s becoming very thoughtful and responsible with money and I’m glad this was an option for gifting while also supporting a cause he is interested in.
