Why I chose to support Because I am a Girl
While going through the list of charities, I explained that Because I am a Girl is a charity to help little girls around the world have the same rights as boys. By supporting this charity, we would be able to help girls go to school and have healthcare the same as the boys. When she heard that other little girls didn't have the same right as boys she said "That's not fair! Girls should have all the same things that boys do. I want to pick this charity."
Why I chose my gift(s)
We chose a group gift from her friends so that she can learn about managing money. This way she can prioritize what she wants, and ensure she has the money for it. Our home doesn't get overwhelmed with extra toys, and she gets to save up for a "big gift."
