HOW YOUR CONTRIBUTION HELPS:

AVI will provide a space for students of all backgrounds to be proud of their Zionism. Whether you are a high school student looking to learn more about Israel, a university student eager to build meaningful relationships, or a teacher aiming to give students a clearer understanding of why anti-Israel hatred leads to the targeting of Jewish students, there are many ways for you to get involved! Your support will allow us to continue to educate thousands of students through a myriad of educational workshops, flagship programs that include educational journeys through trips abroad (Italy, Israel, Kosovo, etc.), media fellowships that train students to utilize their voices and become published authors, access to high-profile speakers and resources, and various other ways. Our programs are geared toward high school, college, and university students in Canada.

Testimonials:

“I would describe the program as an incredibly well-structured learning opportunity for people to become better activists and learn about their people. I am so grateful to have been an intern and a mentor here, and I loved every minute!” Leah Freedhoff Sir Robert Borden High School in Nepean AVI High School Ambassador “As someone who already posted quite a bit of Israel advocacy on social media, I really enjoyed the opportunity to organize my thoughts and advocacy into written op-ed pieces. This was new for me, and I found it to be an extremely enjoyable outlet for me to advocate for the Jewish people.” Avi Teich Queen’s University in Kingston Campus Media Fellow “This group helped me feel less alone in fighting antisemitism and I appreciated everyone being very passionate just like me. Additionally, writing both op-eds were really empowering and I'm so proud of my work. I felt so helpless after experiencing antisemitism myself, and now responding to what I had experienced through this op-ed felt amazing. I'm excited to take what I have learned and continue to fight antisemitism!” Sarah Bluestein University of Western Ontario Campus Media Fellow
