Mission and Goals

Launched in 2001, Rethink is the first-ever, Canadian breast cancer charity to bring bold, relevant awareness to the under-40 crowd; foster a new generation of young and influential breast cancer supporters; and, most importantly, respond to the unique needs of young (or youngish) women going through it.

How Your Contribution Helps

Rethink Breast Cancer believes a breast cancer diagnosis affects the entire family. Families with babies and small children have specially high needs. That's why Rethink creates and funds programs that support young moms and help children learn to cope with mommy's breast cancer.

Funds raised through ECHOage will be directed to Rethink's Family Resources program which provides family support to breast cancer patients who have young children. Whether a newly diagnosed mother want to speak with another young mom whose been through it, find resources to help them talk to their kids about breast cancer, or get professional help with a specific concern, Rethink can help the entire family cope with this life-changing experience
